  1. Readme for WordPerfect version 5.0

  4. If you have a printer that WordPerfect does not support or you
  5. want to change the manner in which WordPerfect prints with your
  6. printer, you have the option to create a printer driver or modify
  7. an existing driver with the PrintDef program.  To more fully
  8. understand the PrintDef program, a Printing Guide has been
  9. included which explains each option in the program.

  11. For more information on printing and how to access the
  12. Preferences printers, a readme file has been included on the
  13. Print disk.
  14.  
  15. The new Setup icon allows you to enter the Setup program from the
  16. Workbench. 
  17.  
  18. WordPerfect now has the ability to convert IBM 5.0 files to Amiga
  19. 5.0 files.  This feature can be acessed by pressing Ctrl F5 or by
  20. selecting Import from the pull-down menu.
  21.  
  22. WordPerfect also allows the use of the standard Amiga keys by
  23. pressing the left AMIGA key and the following letters:
  24.     
  25. I    Blocks from the cursor to the end of the word.
  26. O    Blocks from the cursor to the end of the sentence.
  27. P    Blocks from the cursor to the end of the paragraph.
  28. J    Blocks from the cursor to the beginning of the word.
  29. K    Blocks from the cursor to the beginning of the sentence.
  30. L    Blocks from the cursor to the beginning of the paragraph.
  31. N    Brings WorkBench to the front.
  32. M    Sends WorkBench to the back.

  34. You may also press the right AMIGA key and the following letters:

  36. X    Cuts blocked text.
  37. C    Copies blocked text.
  38. P    Pastes previously cut or copied text.
  39. I    Toggles italics on/off.
  40. B    Toggles bold on/off.
  41. U    Toggles underline on/off.
  42. Q    Cancel (same as F1).
  43. S    Save a file (same as F10).
